Hey guys. I just managed to log back into this website, SPERG Empire, hell yeah. Here's the quick rundown of what you missed from December 2025 (then) to January 2026 (now).

So firstly my main laptop that had my animation files and log in info, broke, that was very stressful and demoralising.

Had to grab a temp £170 laptop using animation budget money.

It’s not optimal, but it keeps things moving.

I then spent the next few days recovering Zubair and Emery's voice lines, migrating files from the old laptop, and re downloading everything I need.

It's not fancy, but it works for what I wanna do.

It can draw backgrounds, characters, lip sync and edit and things immediately work and I dont need 50 tutorials to work it out. MS Paint might not be an animation software, but it can function as one pretty well.

Also, after months of trial and error, I’ve finally decided on my animation software setup:

MS Paint + basic editing software + Audacity.

Why? Because it's simple, old school and not constant friction like I've had with the others.

And plus, I can always upgrade to Adobe Animate if I want, since that software wasn't too much friction.

It was basically a modernised Adobe Flash.

So my next steps are:

1. Re-record some lines and finalize audio.
2. Animate scene by scene.
3. Lock in music and collaborators now the major stressors are off my plate.

I’m also trying to upgrade my gear:

I’m gonna be getting an Android 4K phone and a Zoom H6 with a windbreaker for filming podcasts and animation audio indoors and outdoors, which is amazing.

I'm really looking forward to that.

In the meantime, I can always borrow my mom’s phone for 4K recording until I get mine.
